Noble County Warrant RecordsNoble County Warrant Records

For a dependable Noble County warrant check, begin with the court that issued the paper, because judges sign warrants here while the sheriff or another police agency carries them out. Noble County puts its case data online through CaseLook, which includes an active warrant list, so you can compare that list against the public case summary for your own matter or a relative's. Indiana offers no single statewide public warrant search. Online results can lag or leave out restricted files. Before acting on anything, confirm what you found with the clerk, the issuing court, or the sheriff.

Noble County Warrant Searches

Noble County's best online starting point is the CaseLook landing page. Three tools wait there: Record Search, Hearing Calendar, and Warrant List. The indexed warrant route runs an active filter and labels the results as Noble County Court data. It is not a sheriff-hosted name form. It is not a statewide system either, and it cannot finally prove a warrant is still active.

  1. Gather the legal name, date of birth, and any cause or citation number for your own matter.
  2. Open CaseLook and choose Warrant List; compare the birth date, issue date, and case number.
  3. Search the case number in Indiana MyCase and read later public docket events.
  4. Call the clerk or issuing court to confirm status, bond, recall, and the next required step.
  5. Call the sheriff or jail about service, surrender, intake, and sheriff-held records.

A matching name alone proves little. Never copy or redistribute a row. The case number is the strongest public key, and it routes a Noble County warrant question straight to the court that controls it.

Start With Noble County Warrant List

CaseLook's active list shows four columns: name, birth date, issue date, and case number. Nothing more. No name-search box, sort order, paging, or update cadence appears. Charge, bond, judge, warrant type, serving agency: all absent. Work from what the page shows and skip the guesses. The official active-list route is a changing index, not the last word on a Noble County warrant. A row opens the door to the court case. Only direct contact with the court can confirm service, recall, or any later order, and the official page itself displays just the title, active filter, and field headings.

The frame shows fields only. That is why a Noble County warrant check starts here but cannot settle bond, offense, or current status by itself.

What a Warrant Search Asks For

CaseLook offers a list schema, while MyCase takes several search routes. The Indiana Judicial Branch search instructions cover case number, citation number, cross-reference number, party name, business name, and attorney searches. A party search narrows with first or middle name plus date of birth. Case searches take one identifier at a time.

Note: MyCase caps broad results and provides wildcard help, so add lawful identifiers instead of assuming a blank or crowded search is conclusive.

Noble County Warrant Court Codes

Noble County runs three active trial courts, all on Odyssey/MyCase since March 1, 2021. A cause beginning 57C01 belongs to Noble Circuit Court. 57D01 marks Noble Superior Court I, and 57D02 marks Noble Superior Court II. These prefixes identify the case, not a separate warrant serial number.

57C01
Circuit Court, including its assigned felony and family, probate, and specialty matters.
57D01
Superior I, including serious criminal classifications and listed juvenile or mental-health matters.
57D02
Superior II, generally including misdemeanors, traffic infractions, and ordinance violations.

The issuing court alone controls recall or quash decisions. City police and town marshals can cite or arrest, but current official materials show no active Noble County city or town court. The former Avilla and Cromwell town courts are listed as abolished. A city citation may therefore route into Superior II rather than a municipal warrant portal.

Noble County Warrant Search Results

A CaseLook row gives a person's name, birth date, warrant issue date, and court case number. That is all. Reason, classification, judge, bond, serving agency, return history, and status-change time are not shown. Those details may appear in a public MyCase summary or require a clerk or Noble County court inquiry.

Name and birth dateIdentity comparison fields; never rely on name alone or republish values.
Issue dateDate the warrant event was recorded, not necessarily the incident date.
Case numberRoutes the inquiry to Circuit, Superior I, or Superior II.
Warrant typeNot exposed in the visible row; ask the issuing court.
Bond and statusNot shown in the visible schema; confirm with court and sheriff.

In Noble County, "active" just means the vendor feed has not yet shown the warrant as served, recalled, or closed. A clerk entry, a court order, and the sheriff's execution record can each update on its own schedule.

Noble County Warrant Checks in MyCase

Indiana MyCase pulls together public case information for courts across the state, and a Noble County case summary there can list a warrant event when that detail is not confidential. The Judicial Branch is clear about the limits, though. MyCase does not offer a warrant search, and Indiana has no public site that searches every arrest warrant statewide. Those limits trip up two common guesses. A blank party search proves nothing either way, so treat it as a dead end rather than a clean bill. The sheriff-linked Indiana's Most Wanted product is not a statewide court database either. For a Noble County check, the practical order is CaseLook for the active view, MyCase for docket context, then direct contact with the issuing court for the answer that counts. The official MyCase interface displays the state case-search setting without any person's result.

MyCase helps with case research, but its limits mean a Noble County warrant still needs separate confirmation.

Noble County Warrants: Who Holds What

The Clerk of the Noble County Courts keeps the court records at 101 N. Orange Street, Albion. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The phone is (260) 636-2736, and email is clerk@nobleco.gov. Circuit and Superior I staff answer at (260) 636-3205, while Superior II uses (260) 636-2129. A public case-search terminal sits in the courthouse basement. The Noble County Sheriff's Department works from 210 S. 7th Street, Albion, with the main line at (260) 636-2182 and the jail at (260) 636-6404. The sheriff serves process, runs jail intake, and is the surrender route named in all three court FAQs. Its official PDF lists a Communications/Warrants fax, (260) 636-3181. The office posts no dedicated public warrant desk, email, online form, or surrender hours.

Noble County Warrant Records Requests

No online record? Ask the clerk of the court that heard the case for the file directly. Give your legal name and date of birth, plus the cause or citation number if you have it. Name the issuing court and the item you want. Clerks understand requests phrased as warrant status, warrant or order, case summary, bond endorsement, or a recall or quash order. For anything the sheriff holds, call and ask where a written request should go. Noble County offers no GovQA, NextRequest, or JustFOIA portal for this. The clerk does list $3 for a certified court document, and the sheriff charges a separate $28 service fee. Neither is a warrant-search fee. Before ordering, confirm the price, any redactions, the format, and how it will be delivered.

Which Warrants Stay Restricted

Indiana leans toward disclosure. The Access to Public Records Act, IC 5-14-3, backs public access. Court records follow a different set of rules. Indiana Supreme Court Administrative Rule 9 and the Rules on Access to Court Records govern those files in Noble County. Sealed, confidential, juvenile, expunged, protected-person, and personal-identifier records can be withheld or redacted. Probable-cause material can also be excluded when release risks flight, harm, or an investigation.

Restricted access: A blank public search may reflect a lawful restriction, a recent filing, a data lag, or another court. It does not prove no warrant exists.

Not sure which rule applies? Ask the Noble County clerk about a court record. Ask the sheriff about sheriff-held material. Staff can explain procedure, but they cannot give legal advice or reveal protected information.

Confirming Noble County Warrant Clearance

A payment, bond receipt, surrender, or attorney filing does not by itself clear an active warrant. Ask the issuing court what action the judge requires and when the order will be entered. Then ask when the clerk record, CaseLook view, MyCase summary, and sheriff system should update. Keep the official order or receipt. If surrender is required, talk to counsel and call the sheriff or jail first for current intake, identification, and endorsed-bond instructions. Noble County local rules say a warrant's own bail terms control. Some active-warrant holds may call for risk assessment and a hearing. The broader active warrant search explains why a live list stays a snapshot after court action.

Noble County Checks Need Four Sources

A thorough Noble County warrant check draws on four channels, and each one answers a different question. CaseLook shows the public county warrant-list schema. MyCase may show the public docket and warrant event within one cause. The Clerk of the Noble County Courts can confirm the official court file and provide a certified copy when available. The sheriff handles service, surrender, jail intake, and sheriff-held execution data. Carry each result forward by case number, court code, issue date, and the person's own date of birth. If a portal fails, the process is not over. Call or email the clerk. Use the courthouse basement terminal during public hours. Contact the issuing court's staff. Ask the sheriff where a focused written request belongs. For an older or city-issued citation, get the citation or cross-reference number from the issuing agency first. Then ask which current Noble court owns the cause. Indiana has no public all-state fallback, so the strongest Noble County warrant check is a chain of local confirmation rather than a single search screen.
